Final walk through of all the men's line
We must eat, we must sleep, we must wear…something. For some people this is a nonissue, solved by simply grabbing the nearest T-shirt and jeans. For others, the question of what to wear is both sport and obsession. You don’t need to be in a world capital to be part of the fashion parade these days, and the Museum of Wisconsin Art explores local connections through four exhibitions in “A State of Fashion.” In this video, Kat Kneevers catches up with Laurie Winters, the executive director and CEO of the Museum of Wisconsin Art, to talk about "A State of Fashion."
Premiere Couture provided the grand finale for Wisconsin Fashion Week. This video was recorded by Izzy, their young (8th grade) assistant, at the final runway show of the week, Womenswear Premium. Recorded for the purpose of allowing Premiere Couture co-owners Rosemary Williams and Laura Evenson to view the runway show since they were behind the scenes frantically assisting the models, all non-professional, change into their various ensembles and accessories, it turned out well enough to share. Thanks Izzy! Designs are from Ariella, Max Studio, Zen Knits, Lynn Lugo, Vera Wang, Nicole Miller, Caroline DeVillo, Janet Nelson Kumar, LeaAnn Belter and Sara Gabriel - all available at Premiere Couture, 1921 Monroe Street, Madison, WI.
